The 14th edition of DW! Triptych show LÁ | ESQUIVA | JURUÁ
Inspired by the Guarani M’byá worldview and culture, the show brings together three performances(ESQUIVA , JURUÁ and LÁ, NOS CORPOS D’ÁGUA), as well as discussions with indigenous leaders, an audiovisual installation about the company’s work in Guarani villages and performances by the Guarani M’byá choir from Aldeia Kalipety (Parelheiros/SP). The program explores themes such as cultural resistance, the relationship with nature and urban issues, bringing together contemporary dance, music and video art in a dialogue between art and indigenous ancestry.

Inspired by Pagu’s novel, the show reflects on the conditions of working women in 1930s São Paulo, connecting these issues to the present. The show tells the true story of Luis Antonio, the brother of director Nelson Baskerville, who becomes the transvestite Gabriela during Brazil’s military dictatorship. This interactive play combines technology and theater, offering viewers a unique experience.
