2025 began with a beautiful listed mansion on the traditional Rua Treze de Maio, located in Bixiga, coming to life again! The historic building is now home to Vino e Cinema, which promises to be a new meeting place forfilm and theater professionals and artists.
The restaurant has kept the façade and structure of the two-storey house and is surprisingly glamorous. There, visitors will find decorations inspired by the seventh art, such as various movie posters, tables indoors and outdoors, rooftops and much more.
What do you find at Vino e Cinema?
As well as good food, the restaurant has a unique proposal based on the emotional memory of its founder, Alessandro de Blasi. His family owned an audiovisual production company and they often held dinners for the crew when a film was finished. Wine was the hallmark of these intimate events!
The menu, meanwhile, is designed by chef Ednaldo Santana and features a variety of Italian delicacies. Among them are dishes such as tortellini alla bolognese, foccacia, parma board and crispy wine burrata. In addition, the space has an impressive wine cellar with over a thousand bottles of wine, living up to the restaurant’s name. In other words, Vino e Cinema is the perfect option for those looking for a tasty and cultural outing.
