In addition to revisiting famous crimes, the experience explores the historical, social, and psychological context surrounding each investigation, revealing how evidence, psychological profiles, and advances in forensic science contributed to understanding and solving these cases.

What is “The Mind of a Serial Killer”?

The Mind of a Serial Killer is an immersive “walkthrough” experience, featuring more than 20 stops that take visitors through different stages of documented cases spanning more than a century of criminal history.

Timelines, documents, audiovisual content, objects, and evidence reveal how more than 20 serial killers were investigated and analyzed, connecting psychological profiles, investigative techniques, and the historical context of each case. Throughout the tour, an audio guide delves deeper into the historical , social, and psychological context of each investigation.

Crime scene reconstructions and detailed replicas make the experience even more immersive. Highlights include Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment, Ted Bundy’s Volkswagen Beetle, and the coded messages attributed to the Zodiac Killer. Those who opt for the VIP ticket will also be able to participate in a virtual reality investigation that places the visitor at the crime scene.

Recommended for ages 16 and up (those under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian), the experience offers an investigative approach to some of the most well-known cases in true crime history. Throughout the tour, visitors will encounter materials related to figures such as Ed Gein, John Wayne Gacy, and the coded messages attributed to the Zodiac Killer.

Lasting approximately 90 minutes, the experience takes place at Shopping Eldorado in a walkthrough format, allowing each visitor to explore the environments at their own pace.
