“You can only see well with your heart, what is essential is invisible to the eye”. This is just one of the phrases that have become immortal throughThe Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s masterpiece. First published in France in 1945, the classic has sold millions of copies around the world and has been translated into more than 600 languages, making it the most widely read book in history after the Bible.
In honor of the work’s anniversary, São Paulo is hosting the exhibition “The Little Prince – 80 Years“. With immersive projections that recreate Saint-Exupéry’s universe, the experience is a must-see for fans of the story as well as those who are meeting it for the first time!
The little prince’s adventures have enchanted generations
After suffering an accident in the Sahara desert, an aviator meets the prince of a distant asteroid. From there, they both set off on a journey that takes us back to the innocence of childhood, with sensitive reflections on love, friendship and the meaning of life.
Despite being a children’s tale, The Little Prince enchants people of all ages. This is because, through poetic and philosophical language, the narrative opens doors to profound discussions in an accessible way.

Celebrate 80 years of The Little Prince in an unprecedented experience
Until March 2026, São Paulo’s MIS Experience will host an immersive experience about Saint-Exupéry’s universe. “The Little Prince – 80 Years“ delves into the life and work of the author, with manuscripts, illustrations and curiosities about the classic.
The highlight of the attraction is a room with 360° projections that recreate passages from the book, with a soundtrack, animations and original watercolors. In addition, the exhibition tells details of the personal life of Saint-Exupéry, who, as well as being one of the greatest writers of the 20th century, was a pilot in the French airmail and was inspired by his experiences in aviation to create the main character of the narrative.
