Decentralized programming and unprecedented interventions at Virada Sustentável 2024
This year, Virada Sustentável is proposing an “urban acupuncture” model, distributing activities across all regions of São Paulo. After all, the aim is to impact not only those who are already aware of environmental issues, but also to involve the general public in a positive and inspiring way.
According to André Palhano, co-founder of Virada Sustentável, the idea is to “promote a creative approach to stimulate reflection on sustainability”.
This year’s highlights include:
- Prainha de Paulista: A beach with real sand will be installed next to the Ferris wheel in the Cândido Portinari State Park, on the Marginal Pinheiros. The space will feature cultural programming and a picnic area.
