A luxury private club with rooms at your disposal, spa, exclusive parties and networking spaces. These are just some of the features of Soho House São Paulo, the chain’s first unit in South America and second on the Latin American continent. Scheduled to open in June, the house will aim to offer comfort and exclusivity for its members, as well as promoting the gathering of creative thinkers from São Paulo and beyond.
The new unit will be located in Bela Vista, in the historic building that used to house the Matarazzo Hospital, next to the luxurious Rosewood. Are you among the selected members?
Get to know Soho House São Paulo, the hyper-exclusive club arriving in SP
When we call Soho House a “club”, we’re not talking about a recreational club to enjoy with family. This is because it is a luxury private club, an exclusive social space for members and selected guests.
Founded in 1995 in England, Soho House has now forty houses around the world, providing networking opportunities for creatives from different countries. People from other fields are welcome, but the focus is on artists, advertisers, musicians, architects and the like.
The new house in São Paulo will be a kind of “second home” for the members. There will be 32 hotel rooms, with a spa and gym, restaurant and pool bar at the top of the building. In addition, the workspaces will allow for exchanges between members, where they can socialize and have fun after work.
And how does it work to become a member? Well, the annual subscription is around R$20,000 (US$ 3.730,93), with access to all the Soho Houses on the planet. For those who only want to go to the São Paulo club, the price is around R$8,000 (US$ 1492,37). People under the age of 27 have reduced rates. Just like abroad, candidates must pass the Soho House committee’s approval to become a member of the club.
