Whenever winter arrives, Campos do Jordão becomes one of São Paulo’s favorite destinations! And, without a doubt, there’s plenty to explore there. So, when you visit this charming town in the Serra da Mantiqueira, be sure to put together an itinerary and include the Ducha de Prata, one of the region’s most traditional tourist attractions.
The site is a waterfall complex with several falls accessed by stairs, trails and walkways. There are several levels to explore and, of course, photograph. What to do at Ducha de Prata?
As soon as you arrive, you’ll find a cluster of little shops with rustic roofs. There are plenty of options for local sweets and drinks, as well as winter clothes, handicrafts, toys and souvenirs to take home.
As you enter the area, you can already hear the sound of the water. Along the wooden walkways, there are several Instagrammable spots, with signs and decorations designed for you to take that perfect photo and send it to the family group. There is also A Selva, an open-air park with free admission, great for those with children!

How much does it cost to enter Ducha de Prata?
Entry to the attraction is free, but if you go by car, parking costs R$30. Ducha de Prata is located at Avenida Mariane Baungart, 2485 – Vila Izabel, with easy access from the city. From Vila Capivari, the journey takes about 15 minutes by car. It’s possible to walk, but be prepared: it’s a long walk uphill. The view is worth it, but the journey can take more than an hour.
