The National Meteorological Institute (Inmet), has issued a red alert for the interior of São Paulo state. With the wave of heat that has lasted the week and the low humidity of the air, the risks to health and the occurrence of forest fires have increased radically.
The drastic changes in the climate have left São Paulo residents stunned. This Friday, the 23rd, we’ll have a high of 33° and it shouldn’t rain, while on Sunday, the 25th, it will be 14° and there’s a 63% chance of rain.

This red alert in the interior of SP has been issued because, unfortunately, temperatures have exceeded the average by 5°C for a period of three to five days, which is considered above average. The weather is not only affecting the state of São Paulo, regions in the Central-West, South and Southeast of Brazil are also affected.
