Have you ever felt like breaking something to relieve stress? Then you need to visit Rage Room CT, a space in São Paulo where destruction is totally free! It’s the first and only “rage room” in São Paulo.
The proposal is simple and cathartic: enter a safe room, put on your protective equipment and smash everything you want, without judgment and with a lot of adrenaline.
The experience mixes entertainment, emotional discharge and urban curiosity. In other words, the perfect option for those who have had enough of the city’s obvious programs.
What is a Rage Room CT and why has this type of experience become a trend?
Rage rooms emerged in Japan as a space where people paid to break objects. The concept soon spread around the world and arrived in Brazil, offering the possibility of “breaking everything” in a safe and controlled way.
Rage Room CT brought this concept to São Paulo in 2020. Today, the space welcomes between 250 and 300 people a month, showing how the idea of “paying to break things” has gained traction among those looking for unusual activities.
The dynamic is simple. When they arrive, participants go through a safety presentation, receive a helmet, gloves and goggles and choose the objects they want to destroy.
Sessions can be individual or in groups of up to eight people:
- from 1 to 3 participants, the experience lasts around 30 minutes;
- from 4 to 8 people, 60 minutes.

Admission costs R$25 per person and broken objects are paid for separately at the end of the session.
Bottles cost from R$1, plates around R$10, while larger items such as TVs, microwaves and stereos can go for more than R$50 – which makes the experience even more intense.
What’s more, the space is environmentally conscious: more than 50% of the objects used in the sessions come from collectors, scrap yards or donations. In other words, items that couldn’t be repaired are given a responsible destination after the experience.
Finally, for those who like trivia, Rage Room CT also took part in the 9th season of Shark Tank Brazil, in 2024, and is already planning to expand, with new units in São Paulo and future franchise plans across the country.
