In our case, the day’s program included a visit to the hotel’s full-service spa, which offers a variety of relaxing treatments. After a massage session, we enjoyed tea in the jacuzzi for a moment of pure relaxation.
Afterwards, we had lunch at the Küche restaurant, which has a variety to satisfy every palate. You’re sure to find the perfect option on the menu, which includes everything from starters to delicious desserts.
What’s more, as part of the royal treatment we received there, the hotel staff offered us a lift to explore every corner of this enchanting refuge. After a stop at the little farm to interact with the animals, we took advantage of the heated indoor pool and we can assure you: it’s not to be missed, especially in the cold climate of the Serra da Mantiqueira.

History and tradition since 1943
Initially, the hotel opened in 1943 and was called Orotour. However, in 2020, the previous owners decided to sell it and it was acquired by businessman Fabio Berg.
Since then, it has undergone a revitalization that has expanded its area to 40,000 m², offering a complete infrastructure for guests from all over the world. However, Berg always wanted to maintain the originality of the space, which had been a symbol of luxury in the city for decades.
For this reason, the inspiration for German Bavarian architecture remains intact, but the Ort Hotel has become a haven of relaxation, leisure and gastronomy. Today, it is ideal for families, couples and events, with its many attractions and stunning scenery.
