After so much speculation, it looks like there will be an Oasis concert in São Paulo! At least, that’s what the British magazine NME says. The news was released this Thursday, the 26th, and has already driven fans crazy.
After all, last month, when the Gallagher brothers announced that they would only be performing in the UK and Ireland, tickets sold out quickly. But it seems there’s still hope for us South Americans!
Oasis in São Paulo in 2025: Gallagher brothers to play in the São Paulo capital
The Gallagher brothers spread the rumor and now it’s true. Liam and Noel Gallagher have announced that they are reuniting on stage and so the return of Oasis is no longer a distant dream.
However, until the beginning of this Thursday, the 26th, only Manchester, London and Cardiff would host the group’s concerts. Now, the scenario has changed and, it seems, there will be an Oasis world tour. According to NME:
Now, with the announcement believed to be next week, sources close to the tour have revealed to NME the venues that the Live ’25 tour will supposedly visit next year – with Liam and Noel Gallagher heading to the United States, South America, Asia and Australia.”
Oasis around the world
The official announcement with dates and venues should take place in the coming weeks, thus confirming Liam and Noel Gallagher’s return to world stages. For the time being, the cities expected to host the concerts are:
- Toronto, Canada
- Chicago, United States
- East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States
- Boston, United States
- Los Angeles, United States
- CDMX, Mexico
- Seoul, South Korea
- Tokyo, Japan
- Melbourne, Australia
- Sydney, Australia
- São Paulo, Brazil
- Santiago, Chile
- Buenos Aires, Argentina
All the fans have been waiting for this news for over a month! After all, Liam and Noel haven’t played together since Oasis split up in 2009, following a fight the brothers had at Paris Rock at the Siene Festival.
Where will the Oasis concert be in São Paulo?
The Gallagher brothers’ concert in São Paulo in 2025 joins the long list of artists who have already played in 2024 and those who are beginning to confirm their arrival next year.
If so, Allianz Parque would be one of the strongest options among the best concert venues in São Paulo. But the fact is that we won’t have any Oasis concerts in São Paulo before August 17, 2025, the date of their last concert announced so far in Europe.
