Preparations for the most eagerly awaited party of the year are in full swing. New Year’s Eve at Paulista 2023 promises to rock São Paulo with a star-studded line-up, guaranteeing an unforgettable New Year’s Eve.
The program includes shows by Zezé di Camargo, Ton Carfi, Claudia Leitte, Chitãozinho & Xororó and many others. The event also marks the start of the city’s 470th anniversary celebrations.
Musical program for all tastes
Every year, Avenida Paulista hosts São Paulo’s grand New Year’s Eve party. This year, New Year’s Eve at Paulista promises to entertain everyone with an eclectic musical program.
After all, among the artists headlining the party are Chitãozinho & Xororó, responsible for the countdown to the new year with the “Brazilian anthem” ‘Evidências’. In addition to them, the program also features Zezé di Camargo, Claudia Leitte and other big names who promise to rock the crowd with their hits.

The shows take place between Haddock Lobo and Bela Cintra streets, on a stage 16 meters wide, 20 meters deep and 8 meters high. The size is the same as in the last edition, but the structures will now be hidden by the scenography, meaning the look will be even more special.
New Year’s Eve in Paulista marks SP’s 470th anniversary
The Secretary of Culture, Aline Torres, points out that the party marks the beginning of the celebration of the 470th anniversary of the city of São Paulo. In addition to the New Year’s Eve concerts, the calendar of actions and artistic programming will continue until Carnival.
This year we’re going to celebrate our São Paulo, which will be 470 years old!In addition to the stage bringing references to iconic places in the city, such as Luz station and Sé cathedral, the midnight show will feature the Brazilian anthem “Evidências” by Chitãozinho and Xororó and various names from Brazilian music.”
Finally, the City Hall reinforced its commitment to safety as a priority for the event. For this reason, the organization will follow the successful model implemented in other festivities, such as Virada Cultural and São Paulo’s Anniversary. With searches, entry control and a reinforced security contingent, the aim is to ensure that everyone can enjoy the event with peace of mind.
