Lindóia, known as the National Capital of Mineral Water, is the kind of destination that surprises you right away. What to do in Lindóia?
The must-see here is the Monumento da Garrafa (Bottle Monument), a giant postcard celebrating the city’s main asset. It makes for fun photos and marks the official arrival at the National Capital of Mineral Water. Following the tour, the Vale do Barreiro Tourist Complex is one of the most enjoyable places in Lindóia: a huge 5 km lake where you can walk, exercise, fish, picnic and even practise water sports. The scenery is beautiful and perfect for relaxing.
Another must-see is the Mirante do Cristo Redentor, built in 1960. From there, you have a panoramic view of the city and the mountains, it’s the kind of place that makes you take a deep breath and contemplate the moment. In the central region, the charming Praça das Águas (Water Square ) enchants with its colorful fountain and family atmosphere, great for those with children or who want to take a break between walks.
For those who love history, the Armindo Beghini House of Memory preserves the city’s past and also serves as a tourist information center. And, of course, you can’t leave Lindóia without drinking water straight from the natural springs, a tradition that is part of the local identity. To round off the itinerary, Morro do Barnabé offers an incredible view of the region.
