You don’t have to fly to Mexico to try tacos or tortillas or visit our hermanos in Buenos Aires to taste a delicious Argentinian alfajor. That’s because São Paulo will soon be hosting the Latin Food Festival, which will bring together the gastronomy of the entire continent in one place!
The festival will take place on March 15 and 16, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., at the Memorial da América Latina. With free admission, it will feature typical stalls and cultural presentations that promise to immerse the public in Latin American diversity. So, if you love discovering new flavors and cultures, why not put the date in your calendar?
Latin Food Festival will feature food from all over the continent
The gastronomic festival has the support of Latin American communities in São Paulo, who bring the delights of their cultures to São Paulo. There you can try empanadas from Argentina or the famous Peruvian ceviche, for example, as well as the famous tres leches dessert from Venezuela. Along with delicacies from Colombia, Mexico and much more!
And, of course, there’s no shortage of Brazilian cuisine. There will be more than 30 stalls with savory and sweet foods at affordable prices. So get ready for a real gastronomic trip without leaving São Paulo.
Festival will feature cultural shows
The Latin Food Festival aims to celebrate Latin American culture as a whole. That’s why, in addition to the gastronomy, you’ll also be able to see musical performances of typical rhythms from our neighbors.
The cultural program for 2025 is not yet available, but based on last year, we can already imagine what’s to come. After all, in 2024, the festival featured salsa, cumbia and Venezuelan pop shows, as well as salsa and bachata workshops.
Finally, some good news: the event will be pet-friendly, so you can bring your pet along! For more details and information, check out Memorial da América Latina’s social networks.
