Here comes Krispy Kreme in São Paulo! The American chain, known for serving fresh, warm doughnuts, has announced that it will open its first store in Brazil in 2025. And lucky for São Paulo residents, it will be located right here in Itaim Bibi.
Founded in 1937 in North Carolina, the multinational is present in 40 countries around the world. Its great differential is the daily production of doughnuts, which arrive in the customer’s hands still warm.
Krispy Kreme in São Paulo: what do we know so far?
The first Krispy Kreme Brazil concept store will be located at Avenida Juscelino Kubitschek, 1065. The space will be 600 square meters, with two floors and a drive-thru, as well as its own factory that can produce up to 50,000 doughnuts a day.
Consumers will be able to watch the doughnuts being made in real time, in the so-called “Doughnut Theater”. And as soon as they are ready, the traditional “Hot Now” sign will light up, guaranteeing freshly baked treats!
The menu will feature 12 varieties of doughnuts, including the famous Original Glazed®, dough covered in sugar glaze that was the brand’s first flavor and then became its flagship.
In addition, flavors adapted to Brazilian tastes, such as dulce de leche and cinnamon, will also be part of the batch.
Donuts arrive in SP next month
Krispy Kreme is coming to Brazil in partnership with AmPm, the Ipiranga gas station chain. As well as the concept store, the doughnuts will be available in convenience stores, first in São Paulo and then in other Brazilian states.
But the question is: when will we be able to try Krispy Kreme’s famous doughnuts? The store is expected to open at the end of April. The convenience stores should receive the doughnuts later in the quarter.
