The musical ‘Hairspray’ has extended its run in São Paulo until November 3rd! That’s because, after a sold-out premiere since the beginning of September, audiences have been given more time to be enchanted by the vibrant story.

A celebration of inclusion and diversity
With a cast including Tiago Abravanel, Vânia Canto, Lindsay Paulino and Aline Cunha, ‘Hairspray’ transports the audience to the vibrant 1960s.
The story takes place in Baltimore, where young Tracy Turnblad (Vânia Canto) dreams of dancing on the famous TV program ‘The Corny Collins Show’. From then on, she challenges social norms and fights against racial discrimination.
Alongside friends like Corny Collins (Ivan Parente), Link Larkin (Rodrigo Garcia), and Motormouth Maybelle (Aline Cunha), Tracy faces the challenges imposed by society and by rivals Amber and Velma Von Tussle, mother and daughter played by Verônica Goeldi and Liane Maya.
