The event marks the closing of the third World Meeting on Human Fraternity, where, for two days, leaders, Nobel Prize winners and activists from all corners of the world met in Rome to reflect on the challenges that define us as Humanity. The Vatican will transform its great architectural icon into a stage, where music will be a great bridge between cultures, celebrating unity and hope.
The gospel choir Voices of Fire has released its new album OPHANIM, highlighting its collaborative spirit and reinforcing the Vatican concert’s message of unity.
Karol G: a Latin landmark at the Holy See
Among the historic corners of St. Peter’s Square, Karol G will bring the energy of contemporary Latin music to the Vatican stage. According to sources close to the organization, she may perform a version of “Vivo per lei” with Bocelli, as well as his song “Milagros“, in a clear bid to build bridges between the urban and the spiritual, with rhythms that vibrate in the streets and lift hearts.
“This is a very rare cultural moment when the world will stop and connect collectively,” said Pharrell Williams. Andrea Bocelli also defined the event:“We will shine with music from the heart of Christianity to send the world a message of peace.“
As well as a celebratory show, the World Meeting on Human Fraternity invites us to reflect on what it means to be human today, in an era marked by conflicts, loneliness, new forms of poverty, environmental crises and countless challenges linked to technological progress. The long-awaited meeting is conceived as an opportunity for dialog, exchanging experiences and building new forms of hope. And it is open to everyone.
