Free water parks for children, 1 hour from SP
Espaço das Águas (Jundiaí)
A free park to take children to in São Paulo is Espaço das Águas, in Jundiaí. The complex opened its doors recently, in August, and is already a huge hit with families. That’s because the park is just one hour from São Paulo, in the middle of nature, and offers super refreshing options.
Waterfalls, an artificial beach with sun loungers, tricycles and pedalos are just some of the attractions you’ll find there. In addition, the space is pet friendly and pets can also participate.
To enjoy it, just book your visit on the Children’s World website, of which the Space is a part. The park always makes appointments available on Mondays at noon, with dates for the following weekend.

Children’s Park (Indaiatuba)
A little over an hour from the capital, this is another of the free parks in São Paulo, perfect for entertaining the little ones on hot days.
As well as a playground, green labyrinth, zip lines and picnic tables, the space has a very complete water park, where children can have fun on the slides and water slides. There are also changing rooms, lockers and a snack bar.
Children from 0 to 15 years old can play in the park with a guardian. All you have to do is register in advance on this website.

Parque do Planalto (Carapicuíba)
Finally, our tip is the Children’s Water Park in Carapicuíba, very close to the West Zone of SP. The space is part of the Parque do Planalto, which in itself was already super complete, with playground, soccer pitches and benches for relaxing. But now it’s even better, with a 50cm deep pool, slides and other water toys suitable for children aged 1 to 10.
There are toilets available and food kiosks for when you get hungry. There is no need to book in advance, but children must be with a guardian and both adults and children must show their identity documents. It is only possible to play in the Water Park with swimwear.
