Espaço das Águas (Jundiaí)
A free park to take children to in São Paulo is Espaço das Águas, in Jundiaí. The complex opened its doors recently, in August, and is already a huge hit with families. That’s because the park is just one hour from São Paulo, in the middle of nature, with super refreshing options.
A waterfall, artificial beach with sun loungers, tricycles and pedalos are some of the attractions you’ll find there. What’s more, the space is pet friendly and pets can also participate.
All you have to do to enjoy it is book your visit on the Mundo das Crianças website, of which Espaço is a part. The park always makes appointments available on Mondays at noon, with dates for the following weekend.

Planalto Park (Carapicuíba)
Finally, our tip is the Carapicuíba Children’s Water Park , very close to the West Zone of São Paulo. The space is part of Parque do Planalto, which was already very complete, with a playground, soccer fields and benches for relaxing. But now it’s even better, with a 50cm deep pool, slides and other water toys suitable for children aged 1 to 10.
There are toilets available and food kiosks for when you get hungry. There is no need to book in advance, but children must be accompanied by a guardian and identity documents must be presented for both adults and children. It is only possible to play in the Water Park in swimwear.
