Between June and July, the OSESP Choir takes over some of the most iconic cultural and historical venues in the city of São Paulo with the traveling series “Coro na Capital,” which offers six free recitals to the public. Under the baton of conductor Kaique Stumpf, the concerts take place at venues such as the Pinacoteca, the Catavento Museum, CAIXA Cultural São Paulo, the Minor Basilica of Sant’Ana, the Pateo do Collegio, and the São Luís Gonzaga Parish in Pirituba.
The initiative has already become a tradition in OSESP’s program and aims to take choral music beyond the Sala São Paulo, introducing new audiences to the classical repertoire in settings that help transform each performance into a unique experience.

The programs feature works by great names in classical music, such as Brahms, Debussy, Fauré, Bruckner, and Mendelssohn, as well as Brazilian composers like Nunes Garcia, Marlos Nobre, Ernani Aguiar, and Luiz Gonzaga. The repertoire spans different periods and styles, revealing the vocal group’s full versatility.
Lasting approximately 45 minutes and open to all ages, the recitals are an excellent opportunity to experience one of the country’s most important choirs up close —at no cost.
