21st Mostra do Filme Livre: don’t miss the last days of the festival
Mostra do Filme Livre was born in 2002 in Rio de Janeiro. The aim was to democratize public access to national productions, covering all genres and formats of cinema. In other words, get ready to see not only fiction feature films, but also shorts and documentaries.
The 2025 edition features more than 170 films, as well as debates and courses. In addition, there will be free booths , immersive spaces with more visual and less narrative films shown on loop.
Another piece of good news is that, this week, the free exhibition will feature accessible sessions! One with audio description on Wednesday (26) and another with descriptive subtitling and Libras on Thursday (27).
How to take part?
The 21st Mostra do Filme Livre runs until February 28 at the CCBB-SP (Rua Álvares Penteado, 112 – Centro Histórico). To take part, you need to pick up your tickets free of charge via the CCBB website or at the box office, one hour before the start of the screening.
