At the beginning of 2025, Vila Madalena gained a new meeting point for drink lovers: the Fifty Fifty Cocktail Bar. Created by mixologists Stephanie Marinkovic and Danilo Gomes Rodrigues, the space offers a complete affective cocktail experience. That’s why each drink tells a story and each snack carries memories – all with a touch of sophistication and technique that reflects the founders’ DNA.
Designed for those looking for exclusive experiences in a cozy, elegant atmosphere full of personality. With four distinct environments – an outdoor area, a main hall, a balcony and a charming winter garden – the project was designed by architect Fernanda Martin. In addition, the soundtrack curated by Stephanie creates the perfect atmosphere for sophisticated happy hours and late nights.
Drinks that tell stories and snacks that surprise: Fifty Fifty’s unique proposal
The menu at Fifty Fifty is a reflection of the genius and creative balance between Stephanie and Danilo, after whom the place is named: fifty, fifty. On the one hand, Danilo’s technical talent, with stints at iconic houses such as Tan Tan and FatCow. On the other, the creative and award-winning power of Stephanie – who collects titles such as Patrón Champion 2017, Jameson Bartenders Ball 2018, as well as Best Drinks List by Veja SP and Prazeres da Mesa.
The duo, recognized for their innovations in Brazilian mixology, translate into each recipe a fusion of technique, emotion and emotional memory – without giving up responsibility in consumption.
Among the signature drinks, three creations already stand out as favorites:
- Coriander, Cupuaçu and Whiskey – a bold and balanced cocktail that combines herbal and tropical notes with the depth of whiskey.
- Watermelon, Thyme and Cucumber – refreshing and aromatic, it’s the perfect choice for hot days or a light start to the evening.
- Fifty Fifty Martini – the star of the menu, a refined reinterpretation of the classic, inspired by the founders’ favorite recipe.
In addition, the gastronomic bar kitchen, consulted by chef Key Kurihara (ex-Punk Cuisine), also shines. The menu, ideal for sharing, features signature flavors and striking textures, for example:
- Pork and shrimp skewer – grilled, with cured yolk and togarashi, surprises with its combination and intensity.
- Panceta – marinated pork belly with gochujang mayonnaise, bringing power and creaminess at the same time.
- Croatian Strudel – Stephanie’s family recipe, with apples, spices and walnuts, served with vanilla ice cream.
