Located in Campos do Jordão, the Pousada Constellation Lodge didn’t get the nickname “Pousada do Avião” for nothing. The place is renovating the carcass of an Embraer E190 airplane so that it will soon become the region’s newest hotel experience.
A task force was set up to get the air giant to its final destination in the Serra da Mantiqueira. The first stage took place in Gavião Peixoto, in the interior of São Paulo, where the Embraer factory is located. There, the aircraft’s systems and engines were removed. The pousada then organized a convoy to bring the carcass to Campos do Jordão, where it is currently undergoing renovations.
