How about taking advantage of the weekend for an outdoor movie? From September 7 to 11, São Paulo will host CineSolar, the first itinerant solar-powered cinema circuit in Brazil. It will be parked in five different locations around the city, bringing free movie screenings and other activities for all ages. With free popcorn!
In other words, it’s the perfect opportunity to go for a walk with the kids and watch good movies at no cost. And in a sustainable way, since the energy needed to bring the screens to life comes from photovoltaic panels installed on the top of a van.
The program will be part of the VR Circuit in São Paulo, sponsored by the VR brand and organized by Brazucah Produções. Check out the films and activities available for free below.

CineSolar will be showing two national films, both with accessibility features. On Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the public will be able to see ‘Chef Jack – The Adventurous Cook’, a free animated film for all ages.
On Sunday and Monday, the public will be able to see the feature film ‘Nosso Sonho’, about the career of Claudinho and Buchecha. Rated 12, the film tells the story of the duo in the 1990s, when they became the country’s biggest funk melody successes.
In addition, every day the public can take advantage of the CineSolar van. As well as generating solar energy for the screenings, it has a mobile station with science, art and technology attractions that will entertain the whole family.
