One zoo close to São Paulo, which combines environmental preservation and entertainment for the whole family. We’re talking about Animália Park, one of the biggest amusement parks in Brazil! There are almost 350,000 square meters packed with attractions such as roller coasters and a large reserve with animals from all over the world, right in the city of Cotia, 33 km from São Paulo. Don’t know it yet? Check out our tips below!
What to expect at Animália Park?
Opened in 2023, the park aims to welcome the whole family, combining fun with environmental awareness.
There are three areas in total: Animália Diversão, Animália Reserva and Forest Animália. The first occupies 10,000 m² and features attractions such as a rollercoaster and cable car, as well as indoor rides for rainy days.
Next, the Animália Forest offers an incredible immersive walk through nature, in direct contact with the animals. There, you can admire birds in particular, which are completely free in their environment.
Finally, the Animália Reserva has a path (also covered) where you can visit the animals that live there. Get ready to meet native and exotic species such as giraffes, anteaters and kangaroos. In addition, of course, to the kings of the jungle: the park is also home to a couple of lions!
In addition, the park has the Vila Animália, where visitors can recharge their batteries with the best gastronomy, such as hamburgers, snack bars and coffee shops. Or maybe you can get a souvenir from the souvenir store!
