‘An Almost Perfect Babysitter – The Musical’ has impressive make-up and visagism
Released in 1993, the iconic film features the iconic Mrs. Doubtfire, starring Robin Williams. At the time, the film won the Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling for the actor’s astonishing transformation.
Bringing the show to Brazil requires a lot of care and precision, as the figure of the nanny must be the same in all the adaptations. To this end, the Brazilian make-up professionals went to London to train Eduardo Sterblitch on how to reproduce the pattern.
The film is directed by Tadeu Aguiar, one of the great Brazilian directors of our time. As well as Eduardo Sterblitch in the lead role, Thais Piza will be on stage as his character’s ex-wife, Lara Suleiman, and Bernardo Destri and Bibi Valverde as the couple’s children. The make-up designer will be Anderson Bueno.
