A obra foi feita pela artista Luna Buschinelli como parte da implantação do Museu de Arte de Rua.
São Paulo já é considerada a capital mundial do grafite há anos e a fama da cidade quando trata-se de arte de rua só aumenta. Desde 10 de dezembro, a empena do edifício Garagem Parque 25, no Parque Dom Pedro II, exibe o gigante mural de 2.000 m² com o desenho exclusivo do cineasta Tim Burton para a cidade.
No trabalho, olhos arregalados, aliens e uma planta carnívora apresentam a estética já conhecida do diretor de filmes como “Edward Mãos de Tesoura”.
O local também não foi escolhido à toa. Na região do terminal Parque D. Pedro II, passam cerca de 400 mil pessoas por dia. Além disso, a empena está próxima do Mercado Municipal de São Paulo e na Rua 25 de março, dois marcos turísticos de intensa visitação da cidade.
A responsável por tirar o desenho de Burton do papel e levá-lo para a empena foi a muralista Luna Buschinelli, escolhida após uma votação que incluiu o voto do próprio diretor.
E não acaba aí!
O mural antecipa antecipa a mostra “A Beleza Sombria dos Monstros: 10 anos de A Arte de Tim Burton”, prevista para começar em maio de 2022. O local ainda não está definido, mas deverá contar com 14 salas e 180 trabalhos do diretor.
