The 33rd edition of Restaurant Week São Paulo is upon us, once again bringing the opportunity to explore the rich gastronomy of the São Paulo capital. From October 17 to November 24, more than 180 renowned restaurants are offering special menus at fixed prices starting at R$54.90.
The event is a veritable gastronomic marathon, offering São Paulo residents the chance to try complete menus – starter, main course and dessert – at affordable prices. The event promises to shake up the city’s culinary scene, and you don’t want to miss it.
Unique opportunity to get to know great restaurants
Recognized as the main gastronomic festival in Latin America, São Paulo Restaurant Week offers a marathon of flavour, with varied cuisine, from traditional Brazilian cuisine to Mediterranean, contemporary, Asian and French options.
The purpose of the event is to democratize access to good gastronomy, enabling the public to try high-quality dishes in restaurants that would often not be accessible on a daily basis. That’s why, during the period, the restaurants will be preparing menus ranging from R$54.90 to R$149. In other words, an excellent chance for the public to get to know new restaurants and try exclusive dishes at an affordable price.
The event has four menu categories, each with different prices for lunch and dinner:
- Traditional: R$54.90 (lunch) | R$69.90 (dinner)
- Plus: R$68.80 (lunch) | R$89.90 (dinner)
- Premium: R$89.00 (lunch) | R$109.00 (dinner)
- Diamond: R$109.00 (lunch) | R$149.00 (dinner)
Highlights of the 33rd Restaurant Week
More than 180 restaurants from São Paulo and the Greater São Paulo area have already confirmed their participation, including Aguzzo Cucina Italiana, Amazônia Casa Brasileira, Axado Mediterrâneo, Coco Bambu, Eataly, Guinza Sushi, Marialva Cozinha Portuguesa and many others. The full list of menus and timetables is available on the event’s official website.
What’s new for this edition is the exclusive week for Pluxee card holders (formerly Sodexo Benefits and Incentives). This is because, between October 17 and 23, only these customers will be able to enjoy the menus before the official opening to the public.
Presence throughout Brazil
With 17 years of history, Brasil Restaurant Week has already been to more than 20 Brazilian cities and has established itself as one of the largest gastronomic festivals in the world. The main purpose of the event is to stimulate the gastronomic market during periods of low traffic. In addition, by offering themed menus with different pairings at fixed prices, it encourages the public to explore new flavours and environments.
With the success of the previous edition, which saw more than 250,000 menus sold, the expectation is that this one will be even bigger. So be sure to follow the official Restaurant Week website to keep up to date with all the news and not miss out on this great celebration of São Paulo gastronomy.
