That’s because the traditional guide ‘The World’s 50 Best’ is now holding its annual ‘The World’s 50 Best Hotels’. For the second year running, only one Brazilian establishment appears on the list and it’s the São Paulo Rosewood São Paulo, which took 24th place.

Now, the new list to celebrate and support hotels and resorts, with the hope of inspiring travelers to seek out the best destinations around the world. A jury of 580 experts has chosen the big winners.
For the first time, the global hotel community gathered at the Guildhall in London. There, they defined a ranking of the best establishments and travel experiences around the world. A São Paulo hotel is among the best in the world: Rosewood São Paulo

Its 180 rooms and suites exclusively for owners are spread between the former building of the Maternidade Filomena Matarazzo (1943) and the Torre Mata Atlântica, designed by the architect Jean Nouvel, winner of the Pritzker Prize.
