In other words, there’s just one week left for us to enjoy this gastronomic feast! So make a note in your diary and get ready to taste some of the best snacks in town. But in the meantime, how about checking out some spoilers for this edition?

Comida di Buteco 2025: what do we know so far?
Each year, the competition launches a challenge for the creation of snacks. We don’t yet know what the theme will be for 2025, but we do know that Comida di Buteco 2025 will be even more special, as it will celebrate the competition’s 25th anniversary.
In 2025, more than 150 establishments spread across all regions of the capital will be offering snacks at affordable prices (R$35). You can check them all out on the official website and prepare for your marathon.

How does the competition work?
The competition takes place in two stages. Firstly, the regional stage, when the public and judges from the city itself evaluate the local bars. The snack carries 70% of the weight of the score, and the other categories (service, temperature of the drink and hygiene), 10% each. In addition, the public vote is worth 50% of the total weight, and the judges 50%.
Next, the bars that did best in the regional evaluations move on to the national stage. At this stage, a new panel of judges visits the champions in each city and assesses their performance in the same four categories. The Best Buteco in Brazil is then chosen !
In 2024, the national winner was Bar Peixaria, in Rio de Janeiro. The regional winner in São Paulo was Deck Snooker Bar, a rock n’ roll bar in Vila Prudente. How about stopping by for a warm-up for the competition?
