Get to know Casarão do Chá!
Built in 1942, the place originated as a tea factory and operated for this purpose until the end of the 1960s. The mansion stands out for its architecture full of oriental techniques and aesthetics, preserving the memory of Japanese immigration in Brazil, especially in Mogi das Cruzes.
In addition to the building, which is a historical heritage site, there is also a food court with a wood-fired oven, where you can try delicious breads, sweet potatoes and pizzas baked right there! All this accompanied by juices, coffees and, of course, the traditional tea.
Casarão do Chá also hosts a Culture and Leisure Fair, where visitors can find typical food, handicrafts and various attractions for all ages. It’s worth keeping an eye on the calendar: the space also hosts ceramics fairs, antique car shows, workshops and much more.
