So this time, the concert series has prepared a Queen tribute concert, offering fans the chance to experience the British band’s greatest hits in a whole new way.
On selected dates , the B32 Theater hosts the candlelit concert in tribute to the band, where you’ll have the opportunity to hear some of the greatest hits of all time. So get ready for a night of rock and nostalgia.
A love connection with Brazil
After failing to play at the Maracanã in March 1981 (four years before the historic scene of “Love of My Life” in unison at Rock in Rio), Queen played at the Morumbi Stadium with The Game Tour. At the time, big international concerts were rarely held in Brazil and this was the first time that a globally successful band had come to the land of drizzle.
And on the very first night, Queen thrilled the 130,000 fans singing their greatest hits at the top of their lungs. And the passion that was Brazilian also became English – excuse the Cariocas, but it all started here. And so they paved the way for other international artists to start including Brazil in their tours.
Get ready for a night of incredible rock
The band led by Freddie Mercury always brought a lot of energy and personality to their live performances, and in this Candlelight tribute concert to Queen, the Monte Cristo string quartet will bring some of their greatest hits to life.
The concert repertoire includes classics such as “Bohemian Rhapsody“,“We Will Rock You“,“Somebody to Love” and “Love of My Life“, all reinterpreted in classical music arrangements, in an approach that gives a new perspective to the songs, highlighting their melodies and harmonies in a surprising way.
What’s more, these events are perfect for a variety of occasions: whether it’s a solo evening enjoying good music, a night out with friends or a romantic date. Whatever the company, the combination of Queen’s music and the candlelit atmosphere promises a memorable evening. Don’t miss the chance to experience Queen’s classics in a totally new and immersive way.
