How about a day trip to the metropolitan region? In April, Paranapiacaba will host the 20th edition of the Cambuci Festival, which will transform the district into a hub of cultural, musical and gastronomic activities.
The event began in 2016, organized by the Caminhos do Cambuci Association. The aim was to celebrate the cambuci, a fruit native to the Atlantic Forest which is Santo André’s intangible heritage. Thus, the festival seeks to promote the preservation of the fruit and its use in gastronomy, with cakes, jellies, ice creams, sauces and more.
If you’re a fan of cambuci or would like to try the fruit, then this is the perfect opportunity to taste it in a variety of recipes. After all, the Cambuci Festival will take place every weekend and public holiday in April, always from 10am to 6pm. With a food court, craft fair, live music and more!
