The best ice cream in Brazil and perhaps the world is in São Paulo! Biju Mani has just been elected national champion at the Gelato Festival Brasil 2025 and will now represent the country at the world’s biggest gelato championship in Italy.
The flavor chosen to compete at the Gelato Festival World Masters 2026 is Appia, a non-obvious combination of Colorado Appia wheat beer and honey, lemon-taiti zest, toasted macadamia nuts and salted caramel. This unique recipe was created especially to pay homage to Ribeirão Preto, the hometown of chef Guilherme Geraldini and his family.
