Nos dias 9 e 10 de novembro, São Paulo recebe a 1ª edição do ‘Comidas de Mi Tierra – América Latina & Caribe’. O festival promete unir os sabores mais autênticos, os ritmos envolventes e a rica cultura de diferentes países do continente americano.
O evento acontece no Largo da Batata, ao lado do Metrô Faria Lima, ou seja, será de fácil acesso para todos os paulistanos. Durante os dois dias, 58 barracas de comidas típicas de 15 nações da América Latina e do Caribe oferecem aos paulistanos uma pequena prova de seus países. Além disso, Além dos shows, ainda acontecem shows e workshop de salsa para animar o público.
Comidas de Mi Tierra: uma viagem gastronômica sem sair de São Paulo
Organizado pelo Cola em Sampa, um canal com mais de 500 mil seguidores, o festival busca convidar o público a explorar a tradição dos vizinhos latino-americanos e caribenhos. Segundo Willian Vendramini, cofundador do canal, será “uma viagem pelo lado mais gostoso e surpreendente”.
Por isso, muitos dos expositores escolhidos são imigrantes que encontraram na gastronomia uma nova chance de recomeçar suas vidas no Brasil. É o caso, por exemplo, de Andre James, que comanda o Jerky’s Cozinha Caribenha. Nascido em Kingston, Jamaica, James se apaixonou pelo Brasil durante um intercâmbio e decidiu trazer um pedaço de sua terra natal, dando voz e sabor às suas raízes caribenhas.
Quais pratos típicos você poderá experimentar?
No festival ‘Comidas de Mi Tierra – América Latina & Caribe’, os visitantes terão a chance de se deliciar com pratos típicos de países como:
- El Salvador: Pupusa – Uma tortilha espessa de massa de milho, recheada com uma variedade de ingredientes que podem incluir carne ou opções vegetarianas. Considerada um dos alimentos mais emblemáticos do país.
- Trinidad e Tobago: Curry Chicken – Um prato vibrante e aromático que combina pedaços suculentos de frango marinados em uma mistura de especiarias, incluindo curry em pó, alho, gengibre e pimenta.
- Colômbia: Empanadas – Pastéis fritos feitos com massa de milho e recheados; e Arepas Colombianas – Pães planos feitos de massa de milho pré-cozida, servidos simples ou com recheio.
Além disso, chefs de várias regiões do Brasil, incluindo Bahia, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Pará e São Paulo, oferecerão uma deliciosa exploração dos sabores nacionais.
Shows musicais agitam o festival
Por fim, a programação musical também estará repleta de atrações que prometem não deixar ninguém parado:
- A Lo Cubano: Banda que apresentará um repertório com o melhor da música latina, incluindo Salsa, Reggaeton, Pop e Cha-cha-chá. Com músicos de Cuba, Brasil e Colômbia, a banda traz uma rica mistura de influências latino-americanas.
- Luiz Rodriguez: O cantor venezuelano e sua banda embalarão o público com bolero, cumbia e outros ritmos latinos.
- DJs Bogotá e Poncho da Bolívia: Prometem uma verdadeira Fiesta Latina com ritmos populares, eletrônicos e uma vibe moderna.
- Bateria de Rua: Ritmistas que garantirão a tradicional roda de samba brasileira.
- Juliana Hooper: Cantora que trará o melhor do blues para o festival.
- Grupo de Mariachi: Trazendo a alegria contagiante da tradicional música mexicana.
